YDMH COVID TESTING CLINIC CURRENTLY CLOSED
Due to current staffing shortages, we are not able to offer the community a COVID 19 testing clinic at this moment.
We apologise for the inconvenience and will provide you with an update as soon as we are able to restore the clinic.
Other local testing options include:
Collection of RATs: 9am – 4pm Monday – Friday
PCR Testing: 1.30pm – 3.30pm Monday – Friday
Testing is conducted in the Urgent Care car park; access is via Callen Street. Please call the COVID-19 Testing Clinic on 0436 345 573 on arrival, stay in the car and wait for testing staff.
Please do not at any stage enter the hospital when accessing COVID-19 testing.

If you require COVID-19 testing, our staff are here to help you. During outbreaks, testing can be in high demand but we do our best to accommodate people as soon as possible.
The COVID-19 testing clinic is located at the Urgent Care Centre (UCC) and operates on:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 – 10am.
Prior to receiving any COVID 19 test, community members need to complete the Departments Test Tracker
We encourage community members to complete the Victorian Department of Health’s COVID-19 testing registration form. You can access the form using this link https://testtracker.covid19.dhhs.vic.gov.au/citizen-prefill.
‘Test Tracker’ is a digital testing program that uses QR codes and digital forms to link a test participant to a unique D number This unique number is used throughout the entire testing process, from the test site, to the pathology lab and communication of test results. This aims to improve manual processes and data integrity in the COVID 19 response.
Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs)
Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) are now available from, at our COVID-19 drive-through testing site.
RATs will only be provided to people who:
a) have COVID-19 symptoms and have not yet completed a RAT, or
b) do not have COVID-19 symptoms, and are confirmed as a close contact of a COVID-19 case, and have not yet completed a RAT.
To receive the RATs Please:
a) complete the COVID-19
Testing Registration for at
to receive a unique registration number, and
b) bring your Medicare card to the testing site.
The RATs provided are for people to conduct the test at home. Instructions on how to complete the RATs and register a positive test will be provided. After completing the RAT, you must follow the guidance for isolation, which can be found here:
Appointments for vaccinations can be made by calling the Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398. You can also book your vaccine appointment online using the online booking system.
