YDMH COVID TESTING CLINIC UPDATE
YDMH COVID-19 PCR testing services closed permanently on Friday 23rd December 2022.
The testing finished operations as demand for COVID-19 PCR testing had significantly decreased over the past 6 months as Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) usage has increased within the community.
Louise Sharkey Executive Director Clinical Operations stated “we acknowledge that this service has greatly assisted in the management of COVID 19 over the past 2.5 years and thanks to our staff involved for their assistance in its delivery”.
Need to get a COVID-19 test?
From 2023 Jan 1st any community member will require a GP referral to access a PCR test.
