Recognition of our Volunteers and Auxillary

Formal Thank You for our Volunteers and Auxiliary
On Monday afternoon this week, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to host an afternoon tea for our Volunteers and Auxillary at Yea Shire Hall.
This provided our Board Chair, Ian Marshman and Acting Director of Nursing/ Manager, Louise Sharkey, the chance to thank our Volunteers and Auxillary members for their continued hard work and the ongoing time and energy that they put into supporting our organisation, residents and staff.
Meg Heres was also invited to recognize her donations of artwork that supports fundraising for our service
The theme set out by Volunteering Australia for the year is to Recognise, Reconnect and Reimagine. Both Ian Marshman and Louise Sharkey discussed the impact of COVID on the volunteers work and connection to the organization during 2020. They noted this event as a reconnection point for future reimagined volunteering with the organization.
Thank you letters and appreciation certificates were given out at the event.
