As of 1 July 2025, Local Health Service Networks have been established across Victoria, and will support enhanced partnerships and collaborations across health services. Alexandra District Health, Eastern Health, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, and Yea & District Memorial Hospital have partnered to form the East Metro & Murrindindi Local Health Service Network. Each health service keeps their name, local leadership, identity and connection to their community – while working together to provide improved access to services and better health outcomes in their region.
In the first twelve months, the East Metro & Murrindindi Local Health Service Network will focus on clinical service planning (including mental health planning), and workforce planning to better understand the health needs of the communities we serve. We would welcome your organisations involvement and contribution to this important program of work.
