The YDMH Saleyards Program embraced the arrival of winter at the Yea Saleyards, with foggy conditions and brisk air keeping everyone moving throughout the morning. Despite the chilly start, community spirit remained strong as locals gathered for the “Give Flu the Boot” health initiative, offering free influenza vaccinations to support community wellbeing during the colder months.
The program provided a convenient opportunity for farmers, workers, and community members to protect themselves against seasonal influenza ahead of winter. A sincere thank you goes to Sue and Lihini for their dedication and support in delivering this important initiative and helping ensure accessible healthcare for the local community. Their friendly approach and commitment were greatly appreciated by all who attended.
