Spot Audit – 29/08/2023

Yesterday we had an unannounced spot check visit from the Aged Care Safety and Quality Commission.  The audit focused on Food, Domestic Services and Infection Control.

We were found to be fully compliant in all audit areas with no recommendations for improvement.

Congratulations to all staff on this result but most particularly thank you to our Hotel Services staff and their wonderful leader Lorraine for doing such excellent work. Job really well done.

Thanks also to all to all of the staff that had their whole day altered by the visit and accommodated this change without fuss – Carol, Lorraine, Daniel, the Kitchen Staff, Tara, Maria and Louise.

The auditor particularly commented on how much he enjoyed singing happy birthday to one of our residents while he was here with us!
