Dear health service consumers and carers

We want to hear about your experience of care when accessing Victoria’s public health services.

Your insight will inform a plan that ensures Victoria’s system of public health services provides you with the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

Victoria has world-class public health services. However, people have different access to and experiences of care, depending on where they live, particularly those in rural and regional areas.

We are an Expert Advisory Committee who have been tasked with developing a draft Health Services Plan (the Plan) in consultation with public health services, and with the support of the Department of Health.

The objective of the Plan is to improve equity and access to healthcare for Victorians. It will outline how the public health service system will provide improved continuity of care, access to services and better outcomes for people living across Victoria. It will also build on the strengths of existing public health services.

The Plan is an exciting opportunity to have your say in shaping the future of Victoria’s public health services and contribute to the design of a connected system that can deliver for all Victorians.

By completing this short survey, you can ensure that we build on the successes of the past and continue to develop a modern, safe, and sustainable health, wellbeing and care system.
